Volunteer Committees & Shift Duties
Review the roles below and select your first and second committee preferences in the application form.
Technical & Audio-Visual
Oversee hardware test stations, workshop microcontroller setups, stage A/V systems, and technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup projector & live stream displays
- Test Arduino Uno/ESP32 workshop kits
- Manage audio mics and speakers
- Assist keynote speakers with tech setups
Logistics & Venue Operations
Coordinate venue ingress/egress, workshop materials kit distribution, booth layout, and attendee movement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Venue floor plan setup & teardown
- Distribute maker swag & badge lanyards
- Manage workshop parts inventory
- Direct floor traffic and crowd logistics
Program & Speaker Relations
Manage keynote timing, workshop speaker hospitality, master of ceremonies (MC) cues, and event scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Speaker check-in & hospitality
- Workshop timekeeping and transition cues
- Coordinate stage agenda and Q&A sessions
- Support workshop facilitators
Marketing, Media & Creatives
Document the event through professional photography, video highlight reels, social media live updates, and maker interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-res event photography
- Film workshop and project showcase demos
- Publish live updates to social channels
- Interview keynote makers and attendees
Registration & Ushering
Warmly welcome participants, scan attendee QR codes, verify registrations, and distribute official welcome kits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front desk check-in and QR ticket scan
- Distribute attendee badges & event passports
- Provide venue directions & program maps
- Answer general attendee questions
Safety & First Aid
Ensure workshop electrical safety, soldering station ventilation, emergency egress clearance, and basic medical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect soldering station safety and ventilation
- Maintain clean workshop walkways
- Coordinate with venue emergency staff
- Provide first-aid kit assistance
Volunteer Code of Conduct & Expectations
Review these conduct standards before submitting. All volunteers are asked to commit to these guidelines for event day.
Commitment & Punctuality
Volunteers are expected to attend the virtual briefing session prior to event day and report punctually for their designated shifts. If an emergency arises, notify your committee lead at least 24 hours in advance.
Inclusive & Respectful Conduct
Arduino Day Philippines is a safe, collaborative community. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior. Treat all makers, students, and attendees with dignity and kindness.
Hardware & Electrical Safety
Safety is paramount. Ensure soldering irons, power strips, and high-current microcontroller rigs follow safety precautions. Never leave hot tools unattended and immediately flag hazards to the Safety Committee.
Maker Spirit & Mentorship
Support attendees and learners when they ask for assistance with circuits, hardware, or code. Share knowledge generously and encourage questions.
Data Confidentiality
Attendee registration info, contact rosters, and internal organizer communications are confidential. Volunteers must not export, disclose, or repurpose participant personal data.
Media & Photo Release
By joining as a volunteer, you acknowledge that event media (photographs, live streams, and highlight reels) may feature you in official Arduino Day Philippines recaps and community archives.

Arduino Day Philippines 2027 will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2027, in Metro Manila. The official venue partner and location address are currently being finalized and will be revealed in upcoming announcements. Doors open at 8:00 AM PHT.
Registration will open soon and the event will be free to attend. Pre-registration is required so we can manage venue capacity; walk-ins will be limited based on available seats.
Expect community talks, project demos, and maker booths. We are finalizing the speaker lineup, agenda, and build sprints or challenges. Full schedule details will be posted once confirmed.
